Renown litigator John M. Phillips is the founder of FloridaJustice.com and the brand Courts & Sports. Phillips is founded the Law Offices of John M. Phillips in 2011, after working for the world’s largest personal injury firm. He has represented a number of high-profile clients and worked on internationally reported cases.
Mr. Phillips most famous cases include representing the family of Jordan Davis, the family of Gregory Hill and tried the case of Erin Joynt while Good Morning America’s cameras roled. To date, Mr. Phillips continues his practice as both a civil trial attorney and occasionally also practices criminal defense.
Mr. Phillips received a degree in political science and criminal justice from the University of Alabama in 1997, after having enough credits to graduate in three and half years with a double major and obtained his law degree from Alabama in 2000.
Mr. Phillips is married to his best friend to his wife, Angela and has three sons, Bennett, Weston and Jonathan (due in August of 2017). Mr. Phillips and his family were featured in the documentary, Armor of Light, directed by Abigail Disney.
